The Lord is provider! An opportunity for me to move fell into my lap and it was too good to say no to! Last month a friend of mine emailed me stating that someone she knows is moving out of the Village and wanting to sell her home. Well the Village is a trailer park for families that attend CIU. It is actually where I lived and grew up when my dad went to seminary here almost 20 years ago.
Therefore I am now a owner of my very own trailer! It is probably about 2x the space of our little apartment and I'm saving a lot of money... in the long run anyways :)
What I'm most excited about?
- My own bedroom!
- Room to entertain
- A dining room table
- A yard
- A garden
- Room for chickens!
- Tons of kids around for Conner to play with!
And it's a learning experience. So far I have learned how to close on a house... kind of an abbreviated and easy way I imagine. I've learned how to buy new carpet, and get out of a lease, and I'm currently researching how to create an urban farm (aka garden).
That's what my life has been up to lately!
